Self-Driving Cars

Self-Driving cars are now on the market and are being used on the streets. Although, there have been multiple cases of crashes from both the computer not being fully functional and abuse by the driver. The software and hardware of these cars is not complete, or ready to be used a lot. Car companies like Tesla and Uber are constantly working on making the cars safer, but they still aren't as good as a human driver. Actually, they are better than some human drivers. Nevertheless, these companies should not stop testing and working on their cars, and should not be discouraged by the fact that there have been accidents that swept all over the internet. People should be more forgiving, knowing that these cars are still being worked tirelessly (ha ha ha?) on and perfected. Also,n that case, most of the accidents we hear about are infact the driver misusing the technology. The accident with the Uber that we all heard about was the driver not being smart at the wheel. These cars are not being used properly and I think that there should be more rules concerning this type of car. If we all used the automatic software like teaching your kid how to drive, things could be a lot safer. If we only used the self driving software on not very crowded roads or highways and nowhere near a bus stop or crosswalk, there would be less accidents. Also, for the time being, we should be careful of these cars and be safer when crossing the street. In the accident with the Uber, the pedestrian was not being very smart and was running across a dark street in dark clothes at night and not near a crosswalk. In case some person isn't driving their car, then we should walk across the streets, not in clothes that are hard to see, and at a crosswalk, and always make sure no cars are coming, or have seen you. For the time being, don't do anything that could make a self-driving car mess up and get someone hurt. I think that this software is a good idea, but we shouldn't trust it completely until it is safer. So please, be careful when with or around a self-driving car.

Flat earther rides in rocket with unfortunate results.

This week, a stunt man flew up a mile in the air to prove the earth is flat. Mad Mike is a lame stunt man who is currently working with the flat earth society. The launch was a hit until the landing “screwed up”. After the decent started, the parachute never deployed and Mike had to be dragged from the wreckage. Mike plans to try again and gradually get to higher altitudes. The final launch will be to 3 miles off the ground. NASA tries to warn Mad Mike about his results. As one employee says, the curvature of the Earth is not visible from three miles, but at the point where it is visible, there are problems with oxygen and pressure. Article By Caleb Frank
