TTN-Totally True News

When I first started playing guitar, I rented a guitar from HB Woodsongs with a rent-to-own contract, meaning that after renting for a certain period of time, I could keep the guitar. The guitar was a good one, but I found out that I wanted to play more rock and metal, so I chose to buy an electric guitar. After a few weeks of shopping online, I found a guitar that I really liked. It was on Amazon though, and my last experience of buying through Amazon was disastrous. After some more shopping on guitarcenter.com, I found another really good guitar from a good brand. It was the Squier Stratocaster HSS with tremolo. It was only $130 - cheap for guitars. It arrived around 3 days later. When I opened it it was a great looking instrument with a shiny coating. Without an amp, I had to improvise, so I got an adapter and plugged it into a speaker using an AUX cable. Eventually, I got a Blackstar Fly 3 amp. The guitar sounds great on any of the p...

President Trump is scheduled to arm wrestle Kim Jong Un at their next meeting. "This event will decide the future of the North Korean nuclear weapons program," says one of our sources who decided to stay anonymous. The arm wrestle, scheduled to take place on the second day of the summit, will be a historic event. "This is the fight of the century," says Caleb Frank, one of our journalists here at TTN, with some connections to the white house, "The outcome of this [arm] wrestle will determine the winner of WW4. Most historians know that if parliament was ever having a hard time passing a law, then each side would send one representative to [arm] wrestle the other, but this has never happened at such a large scale." The White House Press Correspondent says "The president is looking forward the 28th [the day of the scheduled event] and he has been cooped up in the Oval Office for hours on end taking advice from the professionals and exercising his musc...

'Monster' is a novel by Walter Dean Myers. In it, a black boy named Steve Harmon is put on trial for being an accomplice to murder. He is a film club member, and the book is written like a movie script. While those who know him closely say he is innocent, and would never commit a crime, many witnesses are called in who falsely testify that he was a lookout for the robbery. While he is in jail, he hears inmates being beaten by others and witnesses gruesome fights. Myers uses these facts to explore emotions felt by the inmates, some of which have discussions with Steve about being guilty and getting their sentences. Many of them felt regret for the actions that got them into jail. Steve also includes notes in the book, many of which hint at a sense of despair. The book's format made it hard to read, but I was still able to read it in less than a day. This book was a good book, and it was easy to read a little at a time. I recommend this book to anyone w...

Every day, 20 people in the US die while waiting for an organ donation. Many of these people might have had a friend or family member try to donate, to find out that they are incompatible. 3D printed organs can solve that problem by printing these people new organs custom built for them. This will also solve another problem, which is that your body may attack an organ which it believes to be a foreign object.  Unfortunately, this technology is not available to everyone yet, so we are stuck with the old waiting line. How it works There are several different methods for 3d printing organs. Each of them has different problems and uses different materials. There are various other types of bioprinting that are not mentioned in this article too. Bioprinting works better than injection molding organs because injection molds can't make complex shapes inside of an organ The first method is inkjet-based bioprinting. This method pushes print material out of a nozzle and...

In Influence , Robert Cadilini shares valuable insight on the many strategies used by salespeople to get you to buy something. He includes many examples, studies, and letters from readers. He also shares valuable tactics for countering these strategies.  The techniques discussed are very broad but are all based on one idea; people have fixed responses to certain things. Dr. Cadilini explores this in the first chapter by first describing this in animals. He then describes how this could occur in humans. Each chapter, starting with chapter two, has one strategy. I found the letters from readers to be very good examples.   However, I found that this book was harder to read than most of the other books that I have read. This book was harder to read for a few reasons. First, the book contained an excess of examples. I think that Dr. Cadilini could have made the points just as strong while using just half of the examples. Also, I think that the chapters had subtop...

The short answer to this question is yes, you can legally burn the flag. Others might get mad at you and hurt you, but you are 100% allowed to burn the American flag. However, there have been amendments proposed to make it illegal to desecrate a flag in any way. The most recent one failed by one vote in 2006. The reason that many people think that it should be a crime to burn or deface the flag in any way is that people view flag burning in protest as a way of dishonoring the U.S. or saying, "America must die." However, many other people view it as symbolizing that America needs to change or that it has strayed from the path envisioned by our founding fathers. In order to get more opinions, I interviewed some kids at Peak to Peak. I got answers ranging from "People who burn flags should be jailed and given a cactus a day until they starve" to "They should be fined" along with answers like "Long live the King" and "No comment". The g...

Studio 42 Studio 42 is an unprofessional branch of TES (totally entertaining studios) like TTN is. Studio 42 is where the writers of TTN will act and create some comedic videos for their classes. After a little bit, I decided that if we had a news site, we might as well post some of the videos we have been making and putting effort into. So, from now on, I will keep you posted on all of our videos and releases. -Caleb
